Hello, and welcome to my corner of the internet – all things photography and weddings!
I’m going to be honest… I have never written a blog before. Ever. This is not something that comes naturally, but I love sharing little bits about my life, educational journey, business, and everything about the wedding world.
So, besides giving my website an extreme makeover, I work from home while keeping a tiny human alive. Becoming a mother has been the most fulfilling, wild, solitary, rewarding, scary, and exciting time of my life so far. My husband and I have one son, Bennett, born late April in 2025. We couldn’t have “planned” this pregnancy any better: my husband is an elementary school teacher and I had been working at a montessori preschool that also followed the local SAU schedule. I worked up until April break, and then four days later during vacation, Bennett was born. I then had the rest of the academic school year off, which then transitioned into summer. Talk about good timing!
Since then, I have stayed home to save on childcare costs and fully pursue my business. This was the kick in the butt I needed, even though I thought I had been doing “enough” in the past (I definitely wasn’t) behind the scenes.
But enough about me! My goal for this blog is to share recent sessions, weddings, favorite trends, gear, and helpful tips & tricks for my clients. If you are curious about anything in particular, leave me a comment or shoot me an email and I’d love to chat about it!
